Account Manager - YouTube

HYBRID - London & Working from Home

We are looking for an Account Manager to join one of our biggest and most exciting accounts, YouTube. You will be experienced in working with global brands and up to speed with the ever-changing media landscape, and the burgeoning role of content. Experience of working on cross-channel campaigns/ projects will be expected and Organic Social experience will be a big benefit. A passion for all things YouTube will be a big plus. You will also be enthusiastic, motivated and be able to thrive - and stay calm - under pressure.

We work for a range of Google marketing departments across the globe. This role will be particularly focussed on working with the YouTube Ads Marketing teams working across multi-disciplinary projects, with a strong focus on Social. As our clients are predominantly US based you will sometimes be expected to work out of hours, however we try not to make this the norm.

Key Tasks & Responsibility Client Services: Account Manager - YouTube
  • Support the Account Directors in all aspects of the running of the accounts
  • Day-to-day contact with key US based clients
  • Work with the Account Management and Project Management teams to ensure there is an understanding of each project's scope-of-work, schedule and deliverables
  • Work with the Account Directors to develop working schedules for the projects and to allocate appropriate resource based on these schedules
  • Ensure the correct and up-to-date resourcing on all projects and work with AM/ PM to allocate resource effectively for the whole account
  • Ensure regular client communication and contact; emails, conference calls and face-to-face meetings (when applicable), including maintenance and development of status documents
  • Take ownership for the delivery process of an always-on workstream of assets, including briefing resource, communicating the delivery process to the client and management of asset delivery
  • Ensure the Account Directors are kept fully informed of the project status
  • Work with the AD to build on the positive and professional relationships with the clients and identify new ways to strengthen these further
  • Ensure there is co-operation and clear communication between all team members
  • Working closely with the Social team to ensure they that processes are followed and the regular stream of briefs are managed
    Finance - Account Manager - YouTube
    • Support the Account Directors in maintaining billing processes, management of freelancers and supplier invoicing
    • Work with the Account and Project Management teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget, identifying where efficiencies can be made across workstreams
    • Have an understanding of how budgets are set up for the project and how to manage that budget efficiently and successfully
    • Work with AD to review and assess project retainers to ensure they are accurate and fair
