The King Alfred School is seeking a conscientious and dedicated Sunday Caretaker to join us. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in taking on a varied role in a friendly and supportive environment.
Working within the Estates team and reporting to the Compliance and Lettings Officer, the key responsibilities of this role include setting up for lettings, giving access to staff and contractors, meeting and directing visitors, challenging trespassers and receiving and logging deliveries.
The Sunday cover will also need to carry out some simple maintenance duties whilst providing cover.
In addition to the above, there is a comprehensive range of hands-on caretaking duties which can be found in the job description.
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following:
- Successful experience of providing caretaking services in a similar working environment.
- Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal effectively and courteously with people in order to provide a high level of customer care.
- A flexible approach to work and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Good written and oral communication skills, including the ability to receive, record and transmit messages accurately and quickly.
