We have an exciting permanent opportunity to work with one of our public sector clients.

We are looking to recruit a Legal Support Assistant to work closely with our clients lawyers in our legal
department. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a wide range of administrative
and support functions including (but not limited to) audio typing, mail handling, and document
preparation.
The post is based in Carmarthen. Although some home working will be possible
attendance in County Hall will be required for at least part of the week.

Under the direction of fee earners to assist with certain aspects of legal transactions, such
as conveyancing and other property transactions e.g. by following up late responses,
ensuring timely availability of information.

To respond generally where appropriate to enquiries for information in relation to issues
currently handled by the service in order to maximise the standard of care and attention
given to clients.

Undertake a general role in supporting the Service's objective of complying with practice
management standards, including organising the closing of legal case files in conjunction
with the legal clerks and the operation of appropriate procedures to ensure absolute
security and safe retention of critical legal documents and deeds in conjunction with
Modern Records.
