Finance Manager

Global Organisation seeks a Finance Manager to join the team on an interim basis. The Finance Manager would be a Qualified Accountant who has solid financial and management reporting experience and able to hit the ground running.

Duties of the Finance Manager include:

• Oversee balance sheet account reconciliations with quarterly review
• Production and posting of recurring monthly accrual journals
• Month End variance analysis for key client budgets
• Production of monthly management accounts, including support for review process by budget holders
• Prepare month end reporting files from TB and reconcile to SAP
• Quarterly reporting
• Participate in Month end review with senior management. Monthly review and commentary for specific client and customer P&L's
• Documentation of month end reporting
• Input overseas branch results and reconcile trial balance each month
• Maintain overseas balance sheet totals
• Processing Intangible assets to include reconciliation to balance sheet and adjustment from FRS102 to IRFS
• Preparation of the UK P&L, balance sheet & cash flow, which is uploaded to SAP for parent company to review
• Management of all intercompany costs and revenues & reconciliation of intercompany debtors and creditors
• Annual forecasting for inter-group costs and revenues
• Reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts (Related to responsibilities e.g., corporation and deferred tax accounts)
• Annual audit process, work closely with onsite audit team to ensure procedural compliance. Involves preparation of relevant documents for review of year end balances
• Preparation of statutory accounts from trial balance to technical pro-forma (currently FRS102)
• Ad-hoc tasks, analysis, and specialist management reports as required to support the business and Accounts department team

Requirements for the Finance Manager include:

• Qualified Accountant
• Strong attention to detail
• SAP experience
• Strong Excel skills
