My client are seeking a tech enthusiast Account Executive .This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious person with a genuine desire to join a fast growing, dynamic, well respected and highly motivated team.

The account executive will play a hands-on role across all of his/her client accounts and nurture direct relationships with client contacts. Excellent training opportunities are provided and they actively encourage the team to attend events and conferences to build their market knowledge and expertise.

Key accountabilities

1. Day to day contact with target media to generate coverage opportunities and positive ongoing relationships with key journalists

2. Collating coverage and selling results back to clients in a timely manner

3. Direct contact and visibility with clients, with responsibility for specific campaigns and activity plans

4. Writing a variety of copy, from press releases and case studies, to blog posts and market reports

5. Active involvement in social networks on behalf of clients and the agency

6. Research support for new business pitching - media audits, vox pops, internet research

Candidate Profile

Experience and credentials:

  1. 12-24 month's experience in PR, preferably with an agency background
  2. Evidence of time manage skills and being able to juggle multiple tasks and busy workloads
  3. Evidence of media relationships and pitching results
  4. Experience of writing press materials
  5. Team working and communication abilities essential, with strong interpersonal skills
  6. Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative

  • Specific media contacts within B2B technology
  • Ambition in abundance
  • Active in social networking sphere
  • Interest and experience in the technology sector
  • A willingness to get involved in wider company initiatives
  • Keen to develop new ideas and practices
