Academy Business Manager
Interim Academy Business Manager required from January 2022
Secondary school based in East London
£360 per day (Consultant Day rate) or circa £70,000 pro-rata
As the Academy Business Manager, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and overseeing the work of the Business Management Team which includes the Chief Operating Officer, Human Resource Manager, Office Manager and their respective teams, with direct line management for Finance, Administration, Site Team, ICT Technicians and Human Resources.
You will be part of the Senior Leadership Management Team (SLMT) and will assist the Principal in their duty to ensure that the Academy meets both its educational aims and other statutory responsibilities as outlined by DfE Guidance and the Trusts Scheme of Delegation. Aswell as providing professional leadership and management of the support staff, by quality assuring existing line management structures, thus enhancing their effectiveness in order to achieve improved standards of learning and achievement in the school.
This will be achieved by promoting the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the school and strategically ensuring the most effective use of resources in support of the school's learning objectives. Alongside this, you will coordinate via the Business Management team all financial, administration, information and ICT, human, facility & property and Health & Safety resources of the Academy.
