The Digital Communications Assistant position is part of our new internship programme - FPM Develop - and we are looking for someone who will embrace this opportunity to develop a wide range of professional expertise in digital communications and website management. FPM Develop will support you to gain key skills and knowledge, alongside a strong understanding of the membership and health charity sector.
This role will support FPM's corporate communications via digital channels. You will mainly be helping in the production of email campaigns, website updates and maintenance, and social media. You will have responsibility for:
- Preparing social media posts, including text, design and scheduling, as directed, and create social graphics from Canva templates and monitoring social media activity.
- Gathering information for the monthly FPM Bulletin and other email campaigns to members, and designing, testing and sending email campaigns and maintaining accurate audience lists.
- Using the WordPress content management system to upload content to the FPM website, including proofreading and checking for brand consistency.
This post is a great opportunity for someone in the early stages of their career, who is interested in developing their digital skills and has some ideas to contribute. We are looking for a bright, dynamic self-starter who is organised and can communicate well.
