A client of mine that I have work with for over 7 years has come back to me again and asked me to recruit a new managerial vacancy for their office based in Edgbaston.

They are a leading private healthcare provider and are looking for a proven B2C Sales & Marketing Manager to drive a new brand and product range for the business.

This is a role that will evolve with time and success and further down the line will include line management duties.

Initially you will work closely with the Director of the business, who has proven success of branding out with new brands and growing them, to support you with your role.

Salary = Circa £35,000 per annum + target based commission (realistic £50,000 OTE)

Hours = Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

Parking is available on site

Location = Edgbaston

The role:

The initial focus of the role will be to develop and roll out a new brand and service. Once established, the ongoing focus will be to manage this new brand alongside a second more established brand offering.

This role entails but is not restricted to, the following tasks:

• Developing a new brand and service from design concept through digital content creation to promotional launch.

• Researching market trends, competitor offering and performance to understand consumer needs and develop effective marketing strategies for the brand's services

• Analysing data, demographics, pricing strategies and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance

• Researching and understanding the specific marketing restrictions within healthcare marketing, particularly regarding prescription medications. Ensuring that all marketing activity operates within these guidelines

• Implementing a marketing schedule across multiple digital channels

• Tracking marketing and sales data and presenting performance via weekly reports

• Preparing annual marketing budget plans and sales targets with the Director to ensure the business revenue and margin objectives are met.

• Managing a small team to meet sales and marketing objectives whilst delivering superior customer service in line with brand guidelines.

• To recruit and train new staff as required.

• Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks

The ideal candidate for this role:

• Experience in healthcare marketing would be a big advantage

• Experience in B2C marketing is essential

• Must be happy to lead from the front including the sales activity (reactive sales)

• Experience researching market trends and competitor info

• Marketing strategy experience

• Strong analysis and reporting ability
