Helpdesk Support Technician required, paying £110 per day on a medium/long term contract basis, by a well-established investment organisation specialising within the real-estate sector located in Soho. The company has a presence in both the UK and the US and is now looking to expand its team by offering an opportunity for a Helpdesk Support Technician to grow and develop within their sought after environment. This role would probably suit a candidate who has completed an apprenticeship within IT or someone who has recently completed a University degree or College course within IT and is looking for the first step in their career.
Day to day, the Helpdesk Support Technician will act as the first port of call for all internal end users in regard to issues with software, hardware and networking. Exceptional communication skills are essential as well as holding excellent customer service in high regard. The Helpdesk Support Technician will be responsible for the delivery, setup and configuration of all end user hardware and software, including dekstops, printers, headsets, desk phones and MDM. They will also help with new starter on-boarding, set up of AV technologies and escalate any issues coming in via email or telephone to the correct member of the IT support team.
Relevant Skills and experience:
- Knowledge of the installation and configuration of Mac, Windows, Office 365, Outlook, MS Edge, Google Chrome as well as printers, desktop and laptop hardware components
- Familiar with the configuration of mobile devices including iPad's and iPhone's
- Knowledgeable with LAN and WAN
- Ability to work within a fast paced environment, use own initiative and communicate with all levels of the business
