We are looking to recruit an Interim Supply Chain Planner to support the Director of Finance, in a review of its group operation to drive inventory initiatives, that seek to achieve improved stock turn, make V Buy decisions and drive better supply planning and production planning.
The role will work on-site in the manufacturing facility. This is a role in the business that needs an individual to take ownership of this area and provide supply chain expertise.
+ Drive the product performance review that seeks to improve the forecasting activities associated with the analysis of product demand
+ Review historical sales trends and identify demand drivers
+ Analyse forecast accuracy data metrics and drive appropriate discussions to improve data
+ Provide a link between Sales and Operational / Supplier planning from both ends of the supply chain
+ Deliver weekly KPI's to show customer delivery performance and forecast accuracy
+ Be the first point of contact for any customer queries
+ Improve the MRP/ERP system - build weekly schedule demands
+ Be reports that align inventory levels with peaks and troughs in customer demand
+ Maintain good relationships across the business
+ Ensure change requests are understood and actioned in the correct and timely manner
Knowledge & Experience:
+ Degree Qualified, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering related discipline
+ Previous Logistics, Supply Chain, Planning, Forecasting experience
+ MRP experience
+ Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Distribution, Transportation or Warehousing
+ Strong analytical and cost calculation skills
+ Good interpersonal skills with a 'can-do' attitude
+ Excellent organisation skills
+ Proficient in MS Office particularly Excel
£20 - £25 p/hr PAYE
