Your new company
Hays Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be partnering with a well established and reputable organisation located in Grimsby. Due to a period of sustained growth and development, they are looking to onboard a permanent Accounts Assistant to their finance team. This role is full time.

Your new role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for processing all accounting documentation and maintaining the accurate maintenance of the ledgers.

- Process all weekly agency and monthly payroll for the organisation, right through to BACS output.
- P45s, P60s, P11Ds
- Overtime calculations
- SSP, SMP, SPP etc.
- Processing sub contractor invoices with references to timesheet data
- Monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Weekly Expenses
- Sales invoicing and distribution to customers

What you'll need to succeed
You will be personable, passionate with a determination to succeed. Recent and relevant experience maintaining the Payroll function is essential for this role, however training can be provided for the more financial aspects of the role. You must have the ability to work well within a team alongside being able to confidently liaise with other departments. This candidate will be able to prioritise work effectively in order to meet deadlines consistently, submitting work to a high standard. Ideally, some exposure to Microsoft Excel would be beneficial however training can be provided throughout.
