Responsibilities for the Health and Wellbeing Manager will include:
- Managing, developing and training Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA)
- Taking the lead for all health and wellbeing advice and activities
- Leading on the development and implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives
- Working alongside the HR and occupational health and safety team on a variety of projects
- Leading on the development and provision of wellbeing training and support
The successful Health and Wellbeing Manager will have:
- Proven experience in a similar health & wellbeing role, ideally from within scientific research, universities, containment facilities, or similar environment
- Relevant qualifications within clinical, physical or mental health areas or equivalent.
- Proven delivery of health and wellbeing strategies and action plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience influencing and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
