Finance Admin Assistant

Adecco Chester are proudly recruiting for our client based in the centre of Wrexham.

Our client is an innovative niche accountancy practice providing tax, accountancy and compliance advice to Personal Service Companies and the Self Employed.

The business requires a Client Advisor to join our friendly team. Working in partnership with our Accountants, the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for an allocated client base. Client Advisors build excellent relationships with clients, striving to provide their businesses with the most accurate tax and accountancy advice, along with an efficient and compliant administration service.

This role is on a temp to perm basis, starting with a temporary assignment of 20 weeks, then leading to a permanent role for the right candidate.

A successful candidate will work with a small friendly team and the role is office-based at their offices, although there is the ability to work from home on occasion where required.

Hourly wage - £9.61 per hour

Hours - 8.30am - 5.30pm with an hour for lunch

Location - Wrexham

Benefits
  • Holidays: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
  • Heath Cover: Simply Health Cash Plan at Level 2
  • Pension Scheme: Auto-enrolment compliant pension scheme with Legal & General
  • Free parking at our offices with easy access to Wrexham Bus and Train Stations.
  • AAT Training offered along with the role.

Key requirements for the role

The ideal candidate would already have started or have completed a relevant qualification such as AAT Level 2, or similar relevant qualification, or have equivalent experience.

As AAT level 2 or 3 is also offered as part of this role, an interest in finance, economics, or accountancy is also desirable.

Previous experience of working in an office environment is also essential.

The most important skills are communication (both verbal and written) and organisation, although excellent numeracy and being comfortable with figures is also very useful, including using Excel for recording information and basic calculations.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people, communicating both over the telephone and in writing, and organising information. There is plenty of autonomy in the role to organise your own workload, however there are also deadlines to be met and prioritising is important.

It would be great for someone with customer service skills who wanted to gain experience in an Accountancy practice, or for someone who has previous experience in an accountancy environment but enjoys working directly with clients and customers.
