Exciting Opportunity for a Science Teacher at a Secondary school in Newham

The school

One of our high-achieving schools in the Newham area is seeking a full time Science Teacher. The school boasts a "Good" Ofsted rating with the report praising the behaviour of the pupils. This school is not just focused on academic achievement, but also encouraging its pupils to excel physically, culturally, and spiritually.

The Role

The school is seeking a fully qualified Science Teacher to teach at Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS3 and KS4), a subject which the school has put a lot of emphasis on. This means you will be responsible for making sure students are taught to fulfil their maximum ability, even if they struggle at first. You must be prepared to follow the school's mission to provide a balanced curriculum that engages, thrills and enables the pupils to learn about the world around them and their future studies.

Requirements
  • A UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE).
  • Fully qualified to degree level in science.
  • Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Have a passion for science and the ability to encourage your students to feel the same.
  • Determined to support pupils and match the school's ethos.
