We are a nationally leading public body dedicated to improving the lives of people in Oxfordshire, working tirelessly to sustain a thriving community and drive the success of our National-leading practices. Right now, we require a Services Operations Manager to ensure that our clinical services are organised and managed to fulfil national policy and guidance, providing good value for money, achieving quality, performance and financial targets whilst meeting employment, Health and Safety and governance requirements.

Your new role
You will take overall operations management responsibility for all aspects of our clinical services across our Oxford and Aylesbury sites. Working in a mobile role, your base will be flexible, and you will provide sound and robust management, leadership, direction and support to staff within the Pharmacy service. You will manage all devolved budgets and operational matters in the service to ensure that the service provides well organised and cost-effective medicines across the Trust, authorising department orders and invoices in line with Trust Standing Financial Instructions. You will work closely with the Clinical Site Leads to develop close working and co-operation between all the localities to ensure service wide delivery of a high level of care, working closely with partner organisations (CCGs, other provider trusts etc.) to enable smooth transitions for services users that are referred across organisational boundaries and areas.

What you'll need to succeed

Strong management experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting will lead to your success. You will have a proven track record in successfully managing teams and services as well as budgetary management and service change. You will have a strong leadership skills including motivating staff, conflict resolution, influencing skills and bringing out the best in individuals and teams. You will be a good decision maker and problem solver and possess strong interpersonal skills.
