This advertising and branding agency based in the middle of London, is one of the best agencies you could ever work for. They are looking for an Account Director with an knowledge of the healthcare operating sector. It's a well-established brand within the sector, and they offer global specialist healthcare to a wide range of well-known pharma brands.

The job of Account Director is crucial in this agency ... it's a role where you will have line-management experience which will entail you managing the team working on all the traditional areas of client requirements, including proposals, problem resolution, project allocation, recruitment, and training. The team you will manage initially works with prescription drugs that supply in the cardiovascular therapy area, so it's a crucial, life-saving role.

You should have an understanding of the digital marketing space, and be fully conversant in how this medium has an impact on pharmaceutical marketing strategy. You will probably have a life-science degree although at this level we would not necessarily expect one because of your experience, but you certainly will have been in the healthcare communications industry for over 3 years and enjoy the confidence of your peers and your clients. You will require experience in team building, management and motivation, financial acumen, strategic/tactical ability, skill in developing pitches, and the ability to deal with complex client issues.
