The ideal Primary Teaching Assistant will be a graduate with at least a second class degree and a good understanding of the primary curriculum. You must be able to work through testing situations daily and quickly build rapport with young people and colleagues. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude towards all teaching and learning and a desire to take on additional responsibility in the role. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be joining teachers, assistants, and leaders in creating a host of extra-curricular activities throughout the school.

In this Primary Teaching Assistant position, you will be practising in a team led by a multi-skilled Senior Leadership Team who make a substantial effort to include all team members from the very beginning. Day-to-day, you will be gaining valuable knowledge and tips on teaching practices from a SENCO, who encourages an innovative and creative teaching approach. Additionally, the school can provide an exceptional array of resources to support your teaching, including audio sensory rooms.
