Robertson Bell are pleased to be supporting a Public Sector organisation, based in South West London, to recruit an Interim Finance Manager on a 5-6 month contract with potential to be extended beyond this point. This role will initially be in the office 5 days a week to learn their systems and process, with flexibility to then work remotely after a few weeks.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Production of monthly management accounts including budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Provide analysis and commentary on the management accounts pack to aid effective financial decision making across the business.
  • Support the production of the annual accounts and report.
  • Run and manage the monthly payroll and ensure all changes to relevant legislation affecting payroll, PAYE, national insurance, and pensions are implemented accordingly.
  • Manage the year-end pension returns.

The successful candidates will:
  • Be a fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CCAB) accountant.
  • Have significant post qualification experience in financial and management accounting and have hands on experience in managing payroll.
  • Be an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing with ability to present and explain financial information that can easily be understood by non-finance managers.

This role has been deemed to fall inside IR35 and will be paid through an umbrella company
