Head of Finance

Our client is looking for a Head of Finance to join their Group which is made up of 3 separate companies.

With a turnover of £10m they are looking to strengthen their team to help them achieve their growth and acquisition plans. Working closely with the Directors you will offer strategic and commercial advice and be instrumental in helping them achieve their goals.

You will be ideally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), qualified by experience candidates may also be considered.

You will have a minimum of 3 year's experience at a similar level and comfortable liaising with staff at all levels.

The role will be based at their Newport site with regular (once a week or fortnight) travel to Bath.

Duties:

• Actioning end of month management accounts for the individual companies and group
• Liaise and manage accounts processes for each existing accounts person in each relevant company
• Staff supervision of 5 team members
• Oversee sales & purchase ledger for each company
• Oversee payments to suppliers and credit terms
• Liaise with Company Directors with regards to special projects, etc.
• Liaise with the external Accountancy Auditing Company
• Look for ways to streamline systems and improve cost savings
