This is a band 6, temporary, full-time Education Content Project Officer role, with an asap start date until March. The successful candidate will have worked within an education and/or training project previously.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Education Content Project Officer role are:

Responsible for the development and delivery of two new education programmes, working with the content lead to design, develop, trial, pilot, launch and evaluate these.
  • Developing and writing educational training programmes which maintain and enhance the education portfolio
  • Devising specific educational interventions in line with a service improvement plan to support and take internal staff members through a period of significant change
  • Co-ordinating and checking training requirements for all workshop facilitators and ensuring these requirements are met
  • Assisting with the review and maintenance of the existing education programme and supporting materials to ensure they remain up-to-date with evolving policy, good practice and approach to adult/expert learning
  • Following best practice in the design of an evaluation framework focused on the full learning cycle of adult/expert learners
  • Gathering and reporting on feedback on the educational portfolio, to evaluate their current effectiveness and guide future improvements
  • Executing the implementation plan for the education service
  • Horizon scanning with the purpose of developing new development interventions appropriate to our general purpose as legislation/guidance/NHS structures change
  • Working with the Membership and Stakeholder Engagement Team to promote and market the education services where appropriate

Profile

The successful candidate for the Education Content Project Officer role will have:
  • Project management experience
  • Experience of designing and evaluating training programmes within healthcare
  • Experience of rolling out education/training programmes and events
  • Experience of the learning cycle (identification of learning needs, training design, training evaluation)
  • Experience of administration systems and customer service delivery with senior stakeholders and external business partners
  • Experience of using a range of computer software e.g. Office 365, Adobe Indesign, Eventbrite and survey software
  • Excellent PowerPoint editing and design skills
  • Event management experience
  • Able to prioritise work, manage multiple tasks efficiently and work to and manage deadlines
