Marketing and Communications Executive - £35,000
An established and rapidly growing charity are looking for an experienced Marketing and Communications Exec to join their team.
Please note - the head office is based in Bracknell, but they offer flexibility and hybrid working. You could be based anywhere in the UK as long as you are happy to come in once per month to site.
The core focus of this role is to produce a range of marketing and comms to raise awareness and engage with their audiences including staff and volunteers, supporters and the wider community that they help. This will include researchers and healthcare professionals as well as members, individuals and families affected by the work the charity do.
Your primary focus will be to create communications that are consistent with the charity brand, delivered on time and to budget and promote the charity's services and highlight its expertise.
Key responsibilities will include:
To create high-quality marketing communications materials and content, from creation of copy, editing, proofing and design through to completion and delivery.
Tailor all communications and messaging for the intended audience.
Ensure all marketing communications and content are consistent with the charity brand, tone of voice, positioning and key messages and act as a point of editorial and brand control for outputs from other departments across the charity to ensure consistency.
Undertake the design of a range of materials, ideally using InDesign, working with external designers and printers where appropriate in accordance with agreed plan and budget.
Develop and manage the creation of content and assets including photography, video, quotes and stories to illustrate the charity's work and impact, liaising with celebrities, ambassadors, members of the community as well as external designers, photographers and other external agencies and professionals as required.
Undertake planning, analysis and report on activity.
Work with the marketing team, reporting to Head of Marketing & Communications.
