Accounts Assistant (Temporary) - Insurance - City of London - Up to £25 an hour
Your new company You will be joining a well-established insurance business on a six week temporary assignment as an Accounts Assistant working in a large finance team of twelve. You will report directly in to the Finance Manager and be working from their City of London office three days a week with the opportunity to work from home for the remaining two days.
Your new role Your main duties will include processing purchase ledger invoices, processing expense claims including the reconciliation of the company credit card account, and importing weekly payment runs to the software.
What you need to succeed In order to succeed in this role, you will need at least two to three years experience in a transactional finance role with exposure to both accounts payable and receivable. You will possess excellent Excel skills and have a keen eye for detail. You will be actively studying towards a further accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA/CIMA). As this is a temporary assignment you will need to be immediately available or on short notice.
What you will get in return You will receive an hourly rate of up to £25 and this will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate. You will be located in a great area of London with access to transport links. Flexible working options available including two days working from home.
