We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and pro-active Marketing Officer to be a key and visible member of our team. You will assist with the planning, development, and delivery of marketing activities, both online and offline to support lead generation and brand awareness. Significant focus will be on the development and delivery of social media content strategies, both paid and organic, to increase brand awareness within our core target markets.
Support the Marketing team across a wide range of marketing activities, including events, copywriting, website updates, research tasks and administrative tasks.
Work with the Marketing Manager to develop, maintain and deliver the rolling marketing strategy and marketing plan, with specific responsibility for social media content and campaigns.
Develop and deliver a social media content plan through campaigns, creating and delivering high quality, engaging social media content in line with campaign plans and key messages.
Research audience needs and satisfaction to provide insights that continually improves our campaigns.
Monitor social media activity and online sentiment, responding appropriately and escalating potential problems where necessary.
Work collaboratively with other regional MOs to share best practice and ensure consistent messaging.
Use Goggle Analytics and other data sources to assess and report on impact and efficiency of social media activity and results, adopting a 'test, learn, refine' approach for future campaigns.
Continually survey the marketing and social media landscape to identify new platforms/ trends/ opportunities/ competitor activity to grow reach and engagement.
Create and deliver training to stakeholders on social media techniques and content capture.
Proven experience managing corporate social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, Snapchat, and LinkedIn.
Highly creative and proficient in the delivery and reporting of social media marketing campaigns.
Skilled at writing for the web and social media.
Organised, excellent administrative and communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
Proficient in use of technology, databases, and office software, i.e., Microsoft Office/ Google.
Self-starter, able to work on own initiative and organise work to deadlines and competing priorities.
Clean driving licence.
Must have rights to work in the UK and live within commutable distance of the Oxford campus in Littlemore.
Experience of working with a digital marketing agency.
An interest in creative media.
