Careerlink is a dynamic, progressive, and rapidly growing recruitment organisation based in Walsall providing opportunities for candidates to take temporary work with its clients across the logistics and manufacturing sectors.

Applications are welcomed for a Part Time Marketing Manager to join our rapidly expanding senior team to take control of our marketing and drive our activity from 2022 and beyond.

Based in Walsall the hours will be 9.30am - 2.30 pm Monday - Friday.

Working closely with the Managing Director and Sales Director in a fast-paced, service-driven environment, we're looking for a self-starting individual from the B2B sector with experience of running a marketing function and shaping the development of a team over time.

There are so many great opportunities to make your mark in marketing at Careerlink as this will be the first role of its kind in the business and a true career-defining step for the person with the right blend of attitude, skills, and experience.

We have two vital audiences with very different communications needs; prospective clients in the logistics/manufacturing community and our candidates in the temporary workforce community, both of which we are equally passionate about.

Support and mentoring are available from the Commercial Director who has extensive international brand and marketing experience from previous roles.

Unsurprisingly, great social media skills, linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, are needed along with the ability to think strategically and act tactically. Among the terrific variety of things to get stuck into are annual planning, website development, agency management, content development, media selection.....

But the objectives are simple, we want our Marketing Manager to grow themselves, our candidate community, and our client prospects in a way that builds our long-term brand presence and short-term company success.

Key responsibilities

Design and align our marketing activity with our brand and sales goals
Have great ideas and the confidence to implement them
Work collaboratively with the senior team to create and delivering a stellar marketing plan
Create, publish, and curate our social media platform activity and content
Write engagingly to communicate who we are, our business values and the things we do
Keep our website current, vibrant and SEO'd
Advise on and run paid media campaigns on linkedIn
