This assignment is based in East London, and will ideally be starting ASAP for approx 3 months, maybe longer
This a fulltime role and will be working both remotely and from the office (3/4 days pw)
The purpose of this assignment is as follows:
Responsible for the e-learning components to continue the development and maintenance
of core learning and support systems essential to the successful delivery and continuous
improvement in the quality of Undergraduate, Postgraduate Taught and Postgraduate Research
programmes within the School, to ensure their successful delivery.
The role will involve liaison with key academic staff with responsibility for digital learning and will also require work with academics and support staff across the School. Responsibilities with include advising and supporting staff to facilitate and develop both new initiatives and online materials using the Virtual Learning Environment; capture and analysis of data from the school's learning support systems; support and implementation of the school's plans for development and innovation in these systems.
The post holder will evaluate the suitability and effectiveness of different types of online content, and investigate emerging technologies, with a view to continuously developing and improving the area of digital learning and being responsible for assisting in the enhancement of learning and teaching elements on our social network channels.
A knowledge of MOODLE and Blackboard would be Essential
