A prestigious and renowned school in London is growing their marketing department and searching for a Marketing & student recruitment manager.

Main areas of responsibility:
  • Student Recruitment
  • To assist the Principal and SLT in taking the lead responsibility for the implementation of the plan with respect to the recruitment of external applicants to the College.
  • To be responsible for ensuring that admissions procedures are regularly updated in line with the Instruments and Articles of Government, Diocesan, statutory or funding obligations; annually reported and ratified by the Governing Body
  • To take responsibility for external liaison with schools in all matters pertaining to student recruitment. This will include taking the lead role in all liaison and marketing activities with partner schools
  • To manage financial expenditure related to recruitment within budget and in a cost-effective manner
  • To ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations (2018), the Freedom of Information Act (2001) and the Equalities Act (2010) in the management of applicants' data and to provide an 'evidence trail' for internal and external audit relating to compliance with this legislation.

  • To lead on the development and implementation of the annual marketing strategy and implementation plan agreed with SLT.
  • To direct and coordinate marketing projects/campaigns, using the most appropriate media mix to meet business and communication objectives.
  • To lead the agreed external and internal marketing plan, monitor and manage a calendar of marketing activities to support and fulfil the plan.
  • To ensure that the College is well-informed on market trends and developments, carrying out analysis and preparing reports using market and competitor data (where available), survey results and enquiry and admissions' data
  • To attend and work with the members of the Curriculum Standards Committee and the Associate Principal Curriculum to keep abreast of course development and innovation and feedback market intelligence, helping and guidance, up to and including market research and testing as appropriate.
  • Actively contribute to the devising of the College's digital strategy, steer best practice in digital user experience and content through industry best practice and analytic data.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • Will have experience in marketing student recruitment
  • An excellent communicator with strong project management skills
  • Experience across a range of channels including digital and traditional.
  • You will need to be organised, confident and able to use your own initiative
  • Previous experience of working in a marketing role and a passion for innovation and creativity is essential.
  • The ability to think and act strategically, whilst ensuring that services are effectively delivered
  • Experience of planning and resourcing promotional campaigns in a professional environment
