Account Manager

Clifton, Bristol - Whiteladies Road

Our Government & Defense team at Sanderson have grown from strength to strength over the last 4 years and are looking to expand their Client Services team with 2 new account managers.

The Client Services team supports the range of business activities within the Government & Defense team at Sanderson. The primary remit is to act as the interface between clients and recruitment consultants, facilitating contract recruitment placements, statement of work, permanent recruitment and Executive hires.

You don't have to come from a recruitment background - we would look at junior or associate or someone with solid admin experience capable of developing in to an account manager and a senior.

General tasks:
  • Primary point of contact for allocated accounts.
  • Resolve client issues quickly and effectively, escalating for support where necessary.
  • Collaborate with Sanderson internal teams (e.g. compliance, contracts, legal, finance) to address customers' needs.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.

Relationship management:
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Identify key staff in client companies and cultivate relationships we don't currently have.
  • Understand client needs and identify opportunities to grow our service.
  • Work with internal colleagues to develop the wider service offering.

Process management:
  • Manage own account vacancies, driving ownership and delivery amongst the consultants.
  • Manage all candidate submissions to allocated accounts, in accordance with the client process.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews, liaising with clients and consultants. Ensure prompt follow up and supply of feedback.
  • Oversee candidate on-boarding, engaging with the client to facilitate a smooth process.
  • Strive for continuous improvement of processes to ensure best service at all times.

  • Ad hoc reporting on accounts as required
  • Prepare and present clients with quarterly performance dashboards
  • Own allocated general reports as required
