Your new role
A temporary opportunity has arisen for a qualified Finance Manager to join our busy school and play a key role in providing comprehensive and highly competent financial support to the Head. We are seeking a qualified Finance Manager with experience, ideally in a school. This role will provide financial support and advice to the Head and would suit a well organised, motivated and flexible person with a positive approach to work, who has the ability to adapt to changing priorities in this busy environment. The role is hands-on with the ability to work within a small team and take on tasks of all levels The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in budgeting, year-end, dealing with auditors, payroll, negotiating utilities, insurance, lettings, health and safety etc. They must be an enthusiastic and flexible individual with excellent financial, organisational, communication, time-management, and workload planning skills. The successful candidate must be self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and be a team player who will deliver superb customer service.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working in a high level qualified finance role
People management experience
Previous experience working in a school would be an advantage
Experience managing an large external payroll
Well organised, flexible and motivated with a positive approach to work
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in this busy environment
