Badenoch + Clark's high profile client within Greater Manchester requires a Power BI Delivery Manager for an initial three month contract. The contract is to start ASAP, will a mix of onsite and remote working requirements and the rates on offer are negotiable, but likely to fall between £400 - £450 per day (OUTSIDE OF IR35).
Our client is in the middle of a significant programme of work focused on the improvement and modernisation of business intelligence reporting within the organisation. Key to that is the implementation of Power BI and its embedding across a large number of users across the business. To support that, they are aiming to hire the services of a Power BI Delivery Manager to lead on the development, implementation, training and support of Power BI's rollout and uptake across the organisation. The key tasks will include the following:
*Using Agile practices such as Scrum and Kanban to drive forward the delivery of Power BI across the business.
*Developing user-centered design and development and iterative agile software development techniques related to the full product lifecycle.
*The management of successful training workshops to end users on Power BI.
*Leading internal delivery teams, as well as the planning and facilitation of workshops to promote adoption of Power BI.
In order to be considered, candidates must have a strong knowledge of Power BI's and the best practice for its introduction into a large-scale business. You will have strong stakeholder management skills and be able to lead on the company wide provision of engaging workshops and training programmes. You will also understand the common pitfalls and challenges of new technology adoption and be able to put a robust plan in place to deliver as strong an update as possible of Power BI.
