Reporting Accountant FP&A - part qualified

Based: Manchester central - (2 days office, 3 days home working)

Salary: up to £45k dependent on experience, excellent benefits including study support, enhanced pension, huge discounts and much more

Our client is a UK leading service provider based in the centre of Manchester. We are looking for a forward thinking, passionate Accountant who wants to progress with an exciting business. This role will be a split Business Partnering and FP&A role so you must have experience with budgets, forecasting, P&L but also commercial acumen to challenge Managers internally

Role:
  • Business Patnering with wider business units, working with Managers and challenging results
  • Supporting the FP&A Manager preparing the annual budget, business plan and statutory info
  • Assisting in preparing management accounts and MI
  • Managing P&L, balance sheet and cash flow information
  • Supporting FP&A Manager to prepare reports, analysing and interpreting financial performance and developing performance indicators to improve productivity
  • Proposing and agreeing forecast changes with Senior Managers
  • Ensure financial results are reported accurately in line with business policy
  • Reviewing group reconciliations and balance sheet accounts
  • Supporting the FP&A Manager in the development of a strategy for the Financial Planning Team
  • Business partnering with parent company - ensuring all financial obligations are met in line with agreed SLA's
  • Assisting the wider finance team on innovative finance projects

Experience:
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA finalist or newly qualified
  • Proven experience delivering accurate management information and analysis
  • Organised, strong communicator who can work to deadlines
  • Keen to progress with a succession plan in place for future growth
  • Large company experience and strong Excel and data skills are absolutely essential
