This inspiring school, near East Grinstead, is looking for outgoing and resilient individuals to join their team! If you have experience working with SEN/EBD, even better! The school provides specialised teaching for pupils aged 4 to 19 who have a diagnosis on the autism spectrum. They help pupils to develop the skills, understanding and confidence through evidence based, individually tailored, outstanding teaching to enable them to thrive and live happy, confident lives. Due to the complex needs of the students, class sizes are kept to a minimum, with 1 to 1 support for each child. This role is needed on a full time permanent basis, but is a term time role only.

All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
- Ideal candidates will be flexible, resilient and have a positive approach to supporting learners with SEN
- Relevant experience/Knowledge of UK SEN settings (desirable)
- Own Transport- Due to locality of the school
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in the UK
-Conducting individualised teaching sessions with pupils assigned to you on a daily basis
-To collect and record data on the programmes delivered as instructed by the Class Leader or Lead Tutor.
-To participate and help instruct pupils within extra-curricular activities during the school day.
-To supervise indoor/outdoor playtime and lunch for all pupils on a rota basis.
-To contribute to the production, organisation and maintenance of appropriate curricular and teaching materials.
-To provide personal care when required (e.g. toileting, nappy changing and feeding) for pupils within the school.
-To work as part of a classroom team providing behaviourally based instruction to children with autism and related communication disorders
