A multi award winning adventure travel company, established in 2012, on a mission to inspire people to live a more adventure-rich life by designing bespoke trips aimed at getting people out of the city and into the wilderness whilst supporting a global community of local and independent travel providers to help protect the world's "wild places". With offices in London, Bristol and Edinburgh this company are expanding into new markets in particular the USA.

The Job
You will join the team as a Content Manager responsible for helping the company grow its customer base and develop the company's award-winning magazine with fun and engaging content around adventure travel.

• Producing copy that will inform, entertain and excite customers about new and existing adventures
• Merchandising, copywriting and visually optimising pages at every stage of the funnel
• Writing and implementing search-optimised on-page copy and meta-data (as directed by our SEO Manager)
• Edit and optimise host profiles to elevate conversion rates
• Implementing interlinks between relevant pages to encourage user flow and assist with SEO
• Reducing SEO content errors across the site
• Supporting the marketing team with marketing campaigns, including newsletters, marketing, content and optimisation projects

The team work on a fully remote basis with hubs in London, Bristol, Edinburgh and Lisbon communicating digitally on a daily basis along with meet-ups on adventure trips throughout the year.

Candidate Requirements
• Prior experience in Content Management or similar role, ideally 2+ years
• Superb copywriting skills and an eye for design
• Prior experience working for a brand, marketing agency, travel business, or in a start-up environment
• Dynamic and self-motivated individual
• A self-starter, with the ability to work hands-on to deliver campaigns
• Passionate about producing great content, with a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
• A good understanding of standard and current SEO practices
• Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments
• Proficiency with an array of relevant tools and software
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge of research and testing methods and principles
• A passion for adventure and the outdoors
