Job Title: Mechanical Team Leader
Salary: £65,000 - £74,000
Location: Warwick

Piper Maddox have been engaged by an innovative and exciting technology research and development firm that specialises in the design and development of high-speed and high-power electric motors for the automotive and aerospace industry. More specifically this firm is developing and manufacturing electric superchargers and compressors that are 40% more efficient than its competition.
The firm operates out of its headquarters in Warwick, working with some of the leading companies in hydrogen fuel cell systems and other sectors. After 15 years of developing the businesses, they are now seeking a Mechanical Team Leader to direct and mentor a team of 10 engineers on a permanent basis. The business is looking to scale up rapidly over the next few years so this would be a great time to join the company.

As a Mechanical Team Leader, you will...
*Lead a team of 10 Mechanical Engineers to deliver multiple projects
*Be involved in the full life cycle of projects from concept to production
*Provide technical leadership and sound decision making to the engineering team
*Review and approve reports, designs and drawings and ensure they meet aerospace quality and safety standards
*Identify new opportunities and processes to improve the business going forward
*Assist the Head of Engineering in bringing in new talent into the mechanical engineering department
