Outside IR35 - Project Manager - Learning Management System (LMS) - Sustainability training - Online

Your new company

Outside IR35 - Hybrid working

You will be joining a Higher Education institutes research team who have won a programme to deliver online training around sustainability to a leading global fashion retailers employees.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with specific experience of delivering on Learning Management System / Digital Training projects.

Your new role

You will be required to be onsite 2-3 days per week at the clients offices in West Yorkshire (Near Leeds) to run and own the delivery of the LMS (Learning Management System) solution to deliver the online training content around sustainability to a global fashion retailer.

Requirement:

  • Part way through mobilisation/delivery, implement a new approach to the co-creation of the project's products with new suppliers and new stakeholders.
  • Finalise and sign off the new approach to co-creation, including agreement and sign off product descriptions, focusing on quality management.
  • Build a full project schedule with agreed delivery dates for milestones from the agreed co-creation process; share and agree it, and sign it off as a baseline.
  • Manage the overall delivery of all the co-creation teams (most of them external suppliers); create the teams agreeing roles, responsibilities and RACI, ensure the teams are briefed within the context of the overall project; implement and manage a new stage-gated sign-off process for project products.
  • Control changes to the schedule, deliverables and product descriptions.
  • Lead the procurement process (2-stage tender) for new suppliers and manage their integration into the new co-creation process and new teams.
  • Manage risks and issues, and actions and decisions.
  • Prepare materials for presentation at governance group meetings and run the meetings to support the academic Chair.
  • In parallel, manage the existing plan with existing stakeholders with support from internal and external colleagues.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working on Learning Management System/ E-Learning projects
  • Previous experience of working in a Higher Education environment would be highly desirable.
  • Significant Project Management experience managing LMS projects with a tight turnaround required.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience of leading on procurement processes for new suppliers
  • Prince2 Certification
  • MS Project
