A great client based in Chelmsford (town centre) is looking to hire a Purchase Ledger Clerk. The role will be a temporary position of around 2-3 months and offers around £12.50 an hour.

Client will consider taking on two temporary staff for this role. One for 2 days a week and the other for 3 days a week. Hours will 8-4 each day.

Main Duties will be:

Processing orders for the business

Raising purchase orders

Checking GRN's against the incoming invoices

Invoice queries with suppliers

Loading purchase invoices to the accounts system

Coding invoices across 14 different cost centres

Gaining authorisation for payment

Setting up payment on payment run

A requirement for this role is experience within Purchase Ledger as well as Excel knowledge.
