Teach Now are looking for a SEN teaching assistant to support a pupil in year 1 at a school bases in Drayton Park, Islington. This is a long term role to start from January 2022.
You will be working one-to-one with a year 1 on Autism Spectrum. The young boy has no behaviour difficulties but requires guidance to remain focused on the tasks assigned by the teacher. They require emotional support and can be distressed easily, so patience is a key for the role.

Able to commit for the duration of the placement
Creative and dynamic in their approach to teaching and learning whilst using effective behaviour management techniques.
Honest and compassionate
Happy to complete training to further develop their knowledge and understanding in education.
DBS checked or happy to complete one
