Academics are working with a Widnes based Primary School who require 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with additional needs. With that in mind Academics are eager to hear from Teaching Assistants who are passionate about working with children with a range of needs including SEMH, EBD, ASD and ADHD.

Ideally you will have previous experience of working with children on a 1 to 1 basis within a Primary School setting. A 'Team Teach' qualification or similar would be useful but is not essential. What is essential is your enthusiasm and dedication to aiding the development of the children you support.

Ideally our 1:1 Teaching Assistant will have experience with any of the following:

SEMH
EBD and challenging behaviour,
ASD,
Learning difficulties (dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, global delay)
