SEN Teaching Assistant: SEMH


Contract start date: ASAP - supply role

Vision for Education are seeking experienced SEMH teaching assistants for a PRU. Candidates must have experience in supporting children with challenging behaviour or SEMH.

The Role

To be successful in this role you will need to be flexible, adaptable, have experience working with learning difficulties. You will need to be confident, outgoing and willing to become part of an energetic team. You will be expected to hit the ground running. This role is to start ASAP and will run on a full-time, long-term basis. For the right person, there will be an opportunity to progress onto a permanent contract.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have/be:

Team Teach or equivalent PBM training. Or be willing to partake in the training that Vision offer.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Previous experience working within a PRU or similar environment.
Be patient and resilient.
Experience supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities.
