Job Title

Account Manager - Customer Services.

Reports To

The Account Manager, reports directly to Sales, Marketing & Design Manager.

Job Objective for the Account Manager

The Account Manager is the person responsible for finding new business. The person will be in charge of managing the company's relationships with new and existing customers. The goal is to maintain long term relationships with customers.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Account Managers role:

* Identify opportunities to grow the business with existing and new customers.

* Qualifying and developing new contracts within defined prospect and customer accounts.

* Generate sales among customer accounts, including upselling and cross-selling

* Working with Sales Manager to develop strategy

* Keep records on customer transactions

* Day to day tasks will be supporting sales team, customer visits, prepare sales plans to meet targets and agree corrective action if falling behind target.

Qualifications / Experience required by the Account Manager

* Account management experience

* Customer focused solutions experience

* Project management experience.

* Ability to communicate customer needs with staff

* Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously

* NVQ Level 3 customer services or similar

Skills / Attributes needed by the Account Manager

* Strong communication, negotiation and listening skills

* Good organisation, planning skills and can do attitude

* Versatility and Willingness

* Presentation skills

* Time management skills

Reporting Structure for the Account Manager:

The reporting structure in place for the role will be as follows:

* Reporting directly to Sales, Marketing and Design Manager

Hours of Work for the Account Manager

* Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm

* Full time - Permanent
