MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Financial Transaction Manager to join a fantastic organisation based in London. Offering a hybrid-working model, this is a permanent opportunity that is not to be missed.
The Financial Transaction Manager will be a strong manager who can lead a team in delivering a high quality, efficient and effective accounts payable, account receivable and cashbook services. You will be able to tackle obstacles and make decisions on your own and develop and empower your staff to do the same.
The Financial Transaction Manager will take ownership of specific projects and develop a framework of continuous improvement and maximise the benefits of information technology to support the work of the team adopting simple and efficient systems for accounts payable and receivable processes.
Develop, implement and monitor tactical and strategic plans to improve the overall effectiveness of the service
Develop policies, procedures and controls which adhere to legislation, regulation or contractual obligations
Lead on specific projects which improve efficiency and effectiveness on the service
Lead and manage a team of Transaction Officers and Administrators, providing strong support, training and development
Write reports, briefings and presentations, providing all statistical records and management/performance data as required
Full ownership of KPI's relating to financial transaction service and develop plans to drive improvement in performance
Review internal processes and procedures for improvements and processing efficiency
Understanding of accounts payable, receivable and cashbook functions
Experience of working with SUN systems and Proactis
Explore and systemise all functions in order to improve performance.
Intermediate - Advanced Excel skills and full understanding of double entry to trial balance
Related degree or other professional accreditation including AAT or part qualified ACCA / CIMA
