Teaching Personnel's Graduate Teacher Internship Programme is the perfect opportunity to start your teaching career. Through this initiative you will have the opportunity to gain further experience working in schools as a Teaching Assistant, prior to beginning a teacher training programme.

Any Graduates interested in becoming a secondary school teacher in the future will have the chance to secure a full time Graduate Teaching Assistant role on a 12-month basis.

What is the Graduate Teacher Internship Programme?

The Future Teachers Programme is designed to help address the teacher shortages across England & Wales by attracting and supporting bright graduates who are considering a career in teaching but wish to gain practical experience before enrolling in formal teacher training.

Who can apply?

All graduates wishing to consider a career in teaching. You must be in your final year of your degree or have already completed your studies. High in demand subjects include English, Maths, Science and Psychology. However, graduates of all subjects including Humanities, MFL and Physical Education will be considered.

To be successful in gaining a position on our Future Teachers Programme, you will be passionate about becoming a secondary teacher in the future and must be able to commit to the programme on a full time basis (Monday - Friday, 8.15am - 3.00pm) from September 2021 until July 2022

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
