Our Resourcing division is solely focused around the training and development of people to either get them ready for work or to improve their skills within the workplace and enhance the opportunities available to them. Novo has a vibrant and dedicated team, based out of our Jewellery Quarter office, which we are continuing to build as our business grows - the directors previously created and managed one of the leading children's nursery groups in the West Mids.

Objectives of Role

To co-ordinate the learning and assessment for Early Years Apprenticeship and/or Adult Care Apprenticeship programmes and ensure candidates meet the necessary course requirements whilst maximising their potential. The Apprenticeship Programme Manager will also be responsible for the establishment and growth of this exciting new business unit, leading the delivery of each candidate's apprenticeship and building their own team of course assessors/tutors as demand grows.

You will be working in partnership with employers and using your training and coaching skills to guide and support candidates throughout their Early Years courses. This will include the creation and delivery of remote one-to-one and/or group workshops up to Level 5, together with the delivery of Level 2 English and Mathematics. You will also undertake workplace observations with candidates.

Job Responsibilities

Assessor qualification (TAQA/A1/D32/33)

Minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare

Maths and English A-C

Experience of creating schemes of work and lesson plans

Experience of working against the new apprenticeship standards

Ability to work independently and remotely (where required)

Passionate about support young people

Highly motivated and ambitious

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong leadership and organisational competencies
