My client, a global Private Equity and Financial Services firm, is looking for an Interim Acquisition Accountant to join a high performing finance team as the business goes through a period of growth and change. You will become part of the group with exposure to various entities, departments and external consultants. The team has hired significantly into the core finance function and now requires strong interim support to help with the transition and on-boarding period. This will be perfect for a strong technical accountant who is solid with stats, excel and consolidation as you will be part of the global group function.This would involve receiving and reconciling completion accounts as well as review of share purchase agreements

Main Responsibilities:

Preparation of financial statements both individual and group
Acquisition Accounting
Preparation of data for external tax advisers, and review of their outputs
Gathering and reviewing data for audit, and helping to ensure an efficient and timely audit
Assist in planning and execution of group restructuring, including closure of companies
Collation of data for FCA regulatory returns
Acquisition related tasks such as acquisition accounting, completion accounts, valuations and earn-out calculations
Ad hoc technical projects such as goodwill impairment reviews
Liaising with external specialists, such as auditors and tax specialistsRequirements:

Qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years + PQ within Financial Services, Private Equity or Investment Management.
Strong Acquisition Accounting Skills
