We are looking for a Legal Administration Assistant to join our well established client, based in central York.

This is an exciting role for someone who is experienced within administration to join the team at the traditional firm as there is an opportunity to progress into running the department.

Duties include:
  • Ensuring titles are properly and accurately registered
  • Following established procedures
  • Creating innovative methods to improve processes where appropriate
  • Ensuring timeframes for payment of stamp duty are met
  • Submissions of registrations to HM Land Registry
  • Effectively liaising with stakeholders regarding any requisitions, mortgage redemptions and registration of charges
  • Monitoring priority period for protective searches and renewing where necessary
  • Ensuring titles are properly and accurately registered

About you:
  • Administration experience
  • Strong knowledge on Microsoft Office
  • Strong organisation and communication
  • Experience within a legal environment is a preference

The successful candidate will be expected to work 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday and in return you will receive a salary of £18,200. Training will also be provided.
