An exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join a highly-acclaimed and multi-award winning technology group.

The Paralegal Role:

Document Review:

+ Review, draft and negotiate a variety of customer and supplier contracts.
+ Proofread documents ensuring correct formatting and versioning on all deliverables.
+ Provide preliminary reviews/cross-checking a variety of commercial agreements and other legal documents.

Intellectual Property Asset Management:

+ Maintain up to date asset registers.
+ Liaise with external counsel on IP related matters.
+ Assist with IP dispute resolution.

Research:

+ Legal research and advice in areas such as contract, data protection, health & safety, compliance, employment, regulatory and corporate

Team Administration:

+ Create and maintain detailed trackers of all requests, questions/resolutions and work in progress.
+ Oversee company templates and precedents – issue standard documents to the business upon request
+ Oversee the Legal Team’s contract database including all end-to-end contract lifecycle tasks.
+ Organise internal and external meetings and recording the minutes of those meetings.
+ Assist Legal Counsel and Senior Management Team with other ad hoc legal matters.

About You:

Essential:

+ Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in Law.
+ Basic knowledge and understanding of commercial contracts / contracts law
+ Thorough attention to detail
+ Business acumen – able to appropriately balance legal risk with commercial objectives
+ Strong management and timekeeping skills
+ Excellent organisation skills. Able to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
+ Excellent written and verbal communication
+ Can do attitude and the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Desirable:

+ LPC qualified
+ Experience within the IT, software and/or SaaS industries advantageous
