Overview of the Treasury & Compliance Manager:

This is a critical role for the business, with responsibility for the operational design and implementation of Treasury activities and associated regulatory requirements.

The Treasury & Compliance Manager will work directly with the leadership team and be part of an innovative, best in class finance function that will be a crucial part of this company's growth journey.

Duties of the Treasury & Compliance Manager:

Strategic responsibility for the design of the flow of funds model, ensuring scalability, and focusing on simplicity whilst managing risk.

Working across the business and with external partners to implement the flow of funds model, automating where possible and minimising processing friction.

Implement an early-warning approach to risk management, taking an integrated approach by building early indicators of risk into the funds flow model and ensuring proactive monitoring.

Day-to-Day treasury management, including responsibility for management of cash holdings and cash flow forecasting.

Own the relationship with banking and payment gateway partners, including their selection and management

Continually review and assess the developing regulatory and compliance landscape, ensuring that Easol is prepared for any changes in advance.

Communicate and raise awareness across the business of a regulatory and compliance environment, including providing coaching and training.

Whats in your DNA?

A bachelor's degree or equivalent is an advantage to the role
A Relevant Treasury qualification (ACT or equivalent) and ideally also be a qualified accountant.
You have experience working in a start-up or scale-up or other fast-moving environment ideally within a technology or technology related business.
Experience of FX trading and foreign exchange management.
Highly analytical with the ability to interpret large amounts of data from different sources.
Experience in implementing processes and technologies with the minimum of business disruption.
Intellectually strong, with a problem solving, curious approach.
Demonstrate the desire to own the treasury function.
You are hands on with an attitude that no task is too small for you.
Strong, robust personality, capable of responding thoughtfully when challenged.
Agility and pace together with an ability to work and make decisions in an ambiguous, changing environment.
A team player who is compassionate, friendly and always seeks to empower and learn from others.
Adept at presenting complex ideas and solutions simply to non-financial audiences.
Process-orientated and always show meticulous attention to detail.
Organised, have excellent time management skills and know what key priorities you need to focus on
