HSB Technical's Power & Propulsion team have a number of vacancies for multiple businesses covering the UK and overseas.

My client is a well-known business within the power & propulsion sector, they are actively looking for a Sales Support Executive to join the team. This person will support the business by talking to and working with the international sales teams - this would suit someone with a strong sales administration background, ideally in the marine sector.

HSB Technical's client is a very established and well-regarded entity within the Power & Propulsion Sector.

Responsibilities (Brief Outline):

Key Points;

You will: Take ownership for sales proposals and RFI/RFP responses, drafting input as required and collating all input to produce coherent, consistent and complete tender documents

Prepare presentations and any other material for client / prospect meetings

Take minutes of meetings and follow up on actions on behalf of the sales team, gaining input from others as required

Take responsibility for sales processes assisting the sales team by following them and improving / automating them to make them more effective and efficient.

Ensuring that all functions in the business are kept up to date with sales progress and how this will impact their functions

Managing the CRM system

Support and assist the post-sales handover process to the Project / Engineering teams

Support and assisting with the preparation of materials for business intelligence, grant applications, board and investor packs and other or documentation as may be required

Ad hoc support and assist Project / Engineering teams with e.g. supply chain and documentation related matters

Knowledge/Skills Required:

Proven sales-support experience in a B2B role for high value products and services, ideally in the marine sector - eg shipping, maritime sales, maritime technologies

Ability to communicate technical engineering information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to solve business problems in collaboration with peers in customers, suppliers, internal sales, marketing and engineering.

Qualifications:

Degree educated in either a business or engineering/technical discipline

Passport

Full Driving Licence
