The children and young people at one of our mainstream primary schools in Shirehampton have a fantasic culture of growing and learning together. They are looking for hard-working, happy, nurturing people to join their team of classroom assistants as soon as possible. We can guarantee you will be kept on your toes!

The position is for 35 hours per week. The hours of work are 8.15am to 3.15pm, term time only. The position is paid at £10.25 an hour.

They also offer casual BANK Classroom Assistants to cover staff absences. There are no contracted hours for these positions so they offer you the flexibility to fit around existing commitments. If you are interested in BANK work, please indicate this on your application.

You will be providing classroom support to our children and young people with to children across the early years to key stage two and on occasions you will be support children 1:1. Previous experience of working with children would be good, but is not essential, as we provide training packages and ongoing professional development. A good level of English and Maths is required for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
