The Role

An Account Executive is one of our client-facing roles. Their job is to keep clients happy, retain them and gain more work. S/he must ensure high-quality deliverables and outstanding customer service.

A central part of this role is to support hard working account managers with whatever they need. The roll will require you to just ' get stuck in' with a great deal of cross business liaison from working with designers in the studio, to other business units in the group where work is being carried out.

Skills & Attributes Required

An Account Executive- needs a wide range of skills and abilities. These include, but are not limited to:

Flexibility- no two days in the agency are the same and many not as you had planned. It requires keeping an eye on both the present and support planning the future. If you like to do one thing at a time sequentially this role is not for you.

Pro-activity - Identifying ways to support and become invaluable to the account manager is a key part of this role.

Organisation & Planning - the role can be highly pressurised and multi-tasking and scheduling time in the day critical to success.

Tenacity & Problem Solving - Finding & pursuing solutions to situations as they arise is vital.

Communication. This is a big one. Keep everyone informed on all the important issues.

Results Oriented. Account teams must have laser focus on getting results for their client.

Appetite for Learning -always open to training and development

Responsibilities Part of the client service team :

o Providing support, taking direction from the senior account person delivering client requests and meeting deadlines . A desire to support other people is central.

o Take responsibility for booking in jobs as well as compiling reports, information and maintaining accurate internal information across all administration systems.

o Building Rapport - Regular communication and liaison with clients. Produce proposals, presentations, and reviews as necessary for clients.

o Supporting the 'on boarding' of a new client- so we are delivering what was promised.

o Contributing to the overall growth and success of the business.

o Active engagement in personal skill development and learning

This is not an exhaustive list and other duties and responsibilities will be assigned.

We are an independent division of Bishops Printers one of Southern UK's largest print companies who are specialists in brochures, catalogues, magazines & programmes. A sibling company is The Mailing People and as part of our offer we can provide end to end services, design, print and mail.

We are a friendly, straight talking team of 15 at The Graphic Design House offering effective and outstanding thinking and design. Services focus on what's appropriate to support our clients to achieve their goals and as you might expect includes strategy, branding and of course the design of a wide variety of collateral used both on line and offline.

  • Evidence/ Demonstration of ability to meet the job description outlined

What are the working hours?
