Three Bridges Recruitment's client is currently looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst for an exciting new permanent job. This role is with a growing business & will be central to all informed decision-making & internal performance reporting. It will support both the operational performance reporting & change programme of the business. You will have the opportunity to partner with key operational leaders & you will support effective operational decision making. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded Accountant ideally Newly Qualified or with 1-2 years PQE to further their career with a fantastic employer.


The job of Commercial Finance Analyst will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
  • Act as a business partner for site managers, account management & sales bringing financial accountability through maximising profitability & managing costs & cash
  • Work as one team with operations, finance & sales building upon the operational data to support decision-making
  • Provide input to improve the finance & non-finance processes & outputs e.g. gaps, duplication, standardisation, control environment, system improvements
  • Work to a detailed reporting cycle of responsibilities
  • Provide finance support on any change process
  • Preparation of operational management reporting packs - daily, weekly, monthly (Operational & Financial Report) & quarterly reports - understand the inaccuracies & feedback for continuous improvement
  • Supporting the Head of Commercial Finance to provide objective actionable analysis to drive operational performance & challenge / support investment decisions
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets & reforecasts to Board & Operational management
  • Assist with any projects & scenario planning


As Commercial Finance Analyst you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
  • Ideally a Qualified Accountant, however, applications will be considered from candidates who have a strong knowledge of carrying out the duties listed above
  • Genuine interest in the business & its operations
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
  • Can produce, understand & explain the deliverables
  • Highly organised with strong analytical skills & attention to detail
  • Can work, & can influence others, to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Worked with organisational managers e.g. sales, account management & operations
  • Experience with system implementation & business change
  • Multi-site experience
  • Microsoft suite (Power BI, Dynamics) / Operational systems would be advantageous
